Introducing some of our brilliant comedians in the line up for Sunday Stand-up Comedy:
Katie Price - She is a fast rising Finchley based comedian with a 'to-die-for opening gag' (Steve Bennett, Chortle) who recently reached the final of the LGBTQ Comic of the Year award with Scott Capurro saying "I don't often watch someone where I think 'I wish I'd written that' but I thought that about 15 times watching you, fast and fucking furious. Really brave" and Helen Lederer and David Morgan praising her 'excellent stage presence and pin point accurate writing'. Katie is also a resident host of the sell out Mazel Tov and Cocktails Monthly comedy event.
Sadia Azmats - Host of BBC Sounds No Country For Young Women - nominated for best new podcast at Brit Podcast Awards 2019. “A wonderfully subversive act”, Steve Bennett Chortle
Maxine Vuvuzela - Philosopher. Healer. Sage. Spreading love and wisdom all over the audience, like a hot Mother Teresa.
Ellie Calnan - Ellie has never been very popular with the fellas and has been told by guys on multiple occasions that’s she can be “a bit much.” She is now trying to figure out where it all went wrong.
There will be loads of great comedians!
We hope you can make it to stand-up comedy extravaganza Vantra in aid of NO Means NO Worldwide, which is a really amazing sexual violence prevention charity, on tonight.
